Lesao Lehohla
Archibald Lesao Lehohla (born July 28, 1946)〔(Profile of Lesao Lehohla ), Lesotho government site.〕 is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs and Public Safety of Lesotho. A graduate in Mathematics from Wadham College, Oxford, he was first elected to parliament from the Mafeteng Constituency in 1993 and became Minister of Home Affairs〔 in the new Basutoland Congress Party government. Subsequently he became Minister of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications in 1995.〔 In May 1996 he became Minister of Education.〔("Dissension within the Ruling Party" ), Summary of Events in Lesotho - 2nd quarter 1996, trc.org.ls.〕 He won a court ruling enabling him to stand in Mafeteng Constituency again in the 1998 election after his party, the Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD), had nominated another candidate,〔("Runup to the General Election" ), Summary of Events in Lesotho - 2nd quarter 1998, trc.org.ls.〕 and was re-elected.〔 In early 2002 he became Deputy Prime Minister, and he was removed from his position as Minister of Education and instead made Minister of Home Affairs and Public Safety in November 2004.〔("Major Cabinet Reshuffle Announced" ), Summary of Events in Lesotho - 4th quarter 2004, trc.org.ls.〕
